Tax Technology's founder, Gerald Jaworski said that "I am pleased to represent fellow ICAA members on the NTLG consolidation losses working group. During the three years spent on developing our recently released Tax Losses Consolidator program, we encountered many loss issues which require clarification and/or rectification and the NTLG is an ideal vehicle to achieve these results for taxpayers in a timely manner". Gerry gave presentations on behalf of the ICAA, CPA and TIA at the ATO Demystifying Consolidation workshops held around AustraliaGerry also represented the ICAA at a confidential meeting with Treasury late in 2004 aimed at rectifying the problem of loosing pre-CGT status of membership interests on entry to a consolidated group. This issue was highlighted in 2002 by Tax Technology with the release of its free pre-CGT Calculator program.
